Nepal Family Tour Package

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, your will meet our tour representative and he will assist you with the transfer to your hotel, usually it take 20 to 30minutes from the airport to hotel depending on the traffic.

Arrive at the hotel and enjoy a welcome drink then after we will meet and brief about your tour and the itinerary. Check into the hotel. Rest and explore the city on your own.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Have breakfast and start a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Normally it takes around 6 to 7 hours covering approximately 200 kilometers watching picturesque landscapes. Our drive goes through beautiful hills and charming villages alongside the Trishuli river. You may stop at Malakhu to take a short break for lunch or snacks thereafter we resume our drive to Pokhara.

Optional: You may stop at Kurntar and enjoy a cable car ride and visit Manakamana Temple.

You will arrive in Pokhara in the late afternoon and check into your hotel and refresh. Evening you may enjoy exploring the lakeside.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Pokhara Sightseeing

Today, wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Drive back to hotel, have a breakfast and explore the Pokhara city.

After breakfast you will visit Bindhayabasini Temple, an esteemed Hindu temple devoted to the divine Goddess Durga, Seti River (Seti River Gorge) – another natural wonder that captivates located in the Seti Gorge. , International Mountain Museum – to learn about the local culture and history of Mountain life style, Mahindra Cave – a large limestone cave in Pokhara.

Davi’s Fall (also known as Devin’s and David’s), or Patale Chhango in local terms, is a mesmerizing waterfall located two kilometers southwest of the Pokhara Airport on Siddhartha Highway. We will continue our trip to Gupteswar Cave, situated in the southern region of Chorepatan, is renowned for its religious significance. World Peace Pagoda – Buddhist stupa located on top of a hill. Lastly we visit Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy a boat ride with the backdrop of the Annapurna range and after boating in the Lake we visit Barahi Temple.

Drive back to the hotel. Evening leisure time to explore around.

Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Chitwan (Sauraha).

Afternoon arrive in Chitwan and check into the hotel. After refreshment leave from hotel for village tour and visit National Park Visitor’s centre. Evening enjoy sunset view, watch a cultural dance program then after dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Full day Chitwan Jungle Safari activities

In the morning, have breakfast and start canoe riding along Rapti River, then after Jungle walk, enjoy bird watching, and visit elephant bathing sport after that have a Lunch. After lunch starts Jeep Safari or Elephant Riding Safari (any one) to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, the Royal Bengal Tiger (if your luck is favorable) and smaller mammals. Return back to hotel and refreshment. Have a dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu

After spending 2 days of jungle safari exciting activities in Chitwan, we will continue our journey to Kathmandu. The charming view drive will take almost 6 hours to get Kathmandu. You will able to spend your travel enjoying a variety of landscapes, green jungles, terraced fields, small village and towns.

Arrive in Kathmandu and check-in the hotel.

Day 7: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today our guide will take you to important places  having rich history, culture and architecture of Kathmandu for a full day sightseeing (day tour).

You will visit:
Swyambhunath Stupa – which is also called monkey temple situated on a hilltop. The temple is also home to many monks and offers a panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley.

Kathmandu Durbar Square –  this is a UNESCO world heritage site located in the heart of the city where you will find the ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples. You will visit Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (the residence of the Living Goddess), and Taleju Temple. You will also spend your time exploring and watching the Newari architecture and rich history.

You will have a short break for Lunch.

After lunch you will drive to Pashupatinath Temple and Buddhanath Stupa.

Pashupatinath Temple – This is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva which is located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Next, you will visit Boudhanath Stupa – This one of the largest stupas in Nepal and a major important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Our guide will take you around the stupa, spin the prayer wheels, exploring the surrounding monasteries.

After sightseeing, drive back to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Kathmandu

Have a breakfast.
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
