Namobuddha is a peaceful and sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. It is located about 40 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu, in the Kavrepalanchok district. It is situated on a hilltop at an elevation of around 1,750 meters. The place is well-known for spiritual significance, quiet environment along with panoramic views of the Himalayas including surrounding countryside.

Itinerary

Namobuddha Day Tour Itinerary (tentative)

7:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu:
Meet our driver and drive through scenic hills toward Namobuddha. Enjoy watching panoramic views of terraced fields and traditional villages.

10:00 AM – Arrival at Namobuddha
Spend your time exploring the sacred stupa and monastery. You will able to visit the meditation halls, spin the prayer wheels, and to learn about the ancient Buddhist legend that makes this site so special.

12:00 PM – Lunch with a View
Have a delicious vegetarian meal at a local monastery-run cafe or nearby restaurant, seeing the panoramic views of the Himalayan/Mountain range (on a clear day).

1:30 PM – Nature Walk / Local Exploration
Optional – Take a pleasant form a short hike through forest trails and local villages, or spend more time relaxing at the monastery.

3:30 PM – Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu, arriving by early evening.
