Day 1:  Arrive in Kathmandu:

Day 2: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu:

Start sightseeing & visit: Bouddhanath – one of the largest stupas in the world and among the holiest where all Buddhist devotees come on pilgrimage then after visit . Pashupatinath –a Hindu temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visit Swayambhunath – the oldest stupa located on the top of a hill, also called as the Monkey Temple, and from the hill we have a magnificent view of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit . Kathmandu Durbar Square – this is a UNESCO world heritage site located in the heart of the city where you will find the ancient palaces, courtyards, and temples. You will visit Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (the residence of the Living Goddess), and Taleju Temple. You will also spend your time exploring and watching the Newari architecture and rich history.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro and drive to Thimphu (55 KMS / 1:30 Hours driver)

Day 4: Sightseeing in Thimpu and to Punakha (75 KMS / 3 hours drive):

Have a Breakfast.
Drive to Punakha across Dochula pass (3080m). This pass offers the most spectacular view over the high peaks of the eastern Himalayas on a clear day.
Visit to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang).

Drive from Thimpu to Punakha.

Punakha is a beautiful valley in Bhutan, known for its pleasant weather, green fields, and rich history. It was the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and is still an important cultural and religious place. The most famous landmark is the Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress built where two rivers, Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu, meet. The valley is also home to Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge, peaceful rice fields, and Chimi Lhakhang, a special temple believed to bring blessings for children. Day 5: Drive from Punakha to Paro (120 KMS / 4:30 hours drive):

After breakfast,
Check out from the hotel and drive to Paro.

Enroute visit The Chimi Lhakhang . situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, also known as the temple of fertility.
Our drive across rice fields to the tiny settlement of Pana, meaning ‘field’. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers.
Enroute we also visit Simtokha Dzong . the oldest fortress of the country built in 1627 which now houses the School for Buddhist studies.
Arrive in Paro and check into hotel.

Visit Ta Dzong . originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum.
Visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), meaning (“fortress of the heap of jewels”), which has a long and fascinating history.

Day 6: A full day tour in Paro:

Breakfast
Excursion to Taktshang Monastery or Tiger’s Nest (around a 5 hours walk).
Taktshang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest, is one of Bhutan’s most famous and sacred sites. It is perched on a cliff about 3,000 feet (900 meters) above the Paro Valley, offering breathtaking views. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew to this site on a tiger’s back and meditated in a cave, making it a holy place. The monastery is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists, who hike through forests and mountain trails to reach it. Its stunning location and spiritual significance make it a must.visit attraction in Bhutan.

Visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. The building of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan.
