Everest Three High Passes Trek will start from minimum 2800m to maximum 5545m Kalapattar. The trek goes via Khangma la pass to Chola pass to Gokyo peak and finally Renjo la pass then after return trek back to Lukla, next day we fly back to Kathmandu.
Everest 3 (three) high pass trek is one of challenging and strenuous trek in Everest Khumbu region of Nepal. You will do some of best adventure passes during the trekking such as Khangmala Pass (5,535 m), Chola pass (5,360 m) and Renjo la pass (5,338 m) including some high passes and around high hill area.
The trek through Nepal’s ‘Three Passes’ takes you in some of the most exciting and picturesque scenery in the Himalaya. The landscape is varied and spectacular; the lodgings and tracks range from the time-worn paths of the Khumbu, to the isolated and less frequented Renjo Pass region.
Sometimes strenuous trekking is continuously rewarded with dramatic Himalayan scenes, including four of the world’s eight highest peaks; Cho Oyu(8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516 m) and Everest (8,850m).Time spent admiring breathtaking mountain vistas are complemented by visits to Sherpa villages, homes and monasteries offering you an insight into the quiet but, culturally vibrant Sherpa way of life.
Itinerary of Everest Three High Passes Trek
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our office representative then transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Transfer to domestic airport. Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2,827 m then start trek to Phakding (2,610 m). 3/4 hrs. overnight at Lodge.
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) – 5/6 hrs . Overnight at Lodge
Day 04: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar and visit Everest view point (Everest Lodge) back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame (3,800 m) – 4/5 hourrs . Overnight at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Thame to Marunlung (4,200 m) – 5/6 hours . Over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 07: Trek from Marunlung to Lunden (4,300 m) – 5/6 hours over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 08: Trek to Rejo-la pass (5,538 m) than trek to Gokyo (4,800 m) – 5/6 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 09: Reserved day for hike to Gokyo-Ri and Fifth Lake the back to Lodge over night at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Thanak (4,700 m) – 4 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 11: Trek from Thanak and cross the pass Cho-la (5360m), than trek down to Dzong-la (4830m) – 5/6 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 12: Trek from Dzong-la to Lobuche (4,910 m) – 4 / 5 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) – 3 / 4 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 14: Early morning climb to Kalapatthar (5,545 m) enjoy the incredible view of Mont Everest, khumbase, Pumari, range of chho-yu, khumbu Glacier Amadablam, Everest Base Camp and more then trek down to Lobuche (4,9107 m) – 7/8 hours. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 15: Trek from Lobuche and cross the pass Khangma-la (5,535 m) than trek down to Chhukung (4,730 m) – 5/6 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 16: Trek down from Chhukung to Tyangboche (3,860 m) – 5 /6 hours. Over night at Tea house/Lodge
Day 17: Trek down from Tyangboche to Namche Bazar (3,430 m) – 3/4 hrs. Overnight at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 18: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800 m) – 6/7 hrs. Oovernight at Tea house/Lodge.
Day 19: Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu (35 minute). Arrive n Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 20: Sightseeing in Kathmandu City. You will visit Pashupatinath (Temple), Bouddha (Stupa), evening Farewell dinner in typical Nepali style overnight at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 21: Morning have a breakfast. We will transfer to the airport as per your flight time and feparture from Kathmandu to your onward destination .

Smile Adventure and tours arrange mid range hotel in Kathmandu – room on twin sharing basis where you will find neat and clean environment.
During the trekking, Smile Adventure will arrange your accommodation at standard tea house or lodge – room on twin sharing basis with attached bathroom however some places will not have attached bathroom so; bathroom are on sharing basis.
We offer breakfast in the hotel in Kathmandu but you have to pay your own lunch and dinner.
We will provide all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) during the trekking in Mountain area.
Private Vehicle : – All airport transfer and sightseeing in Kathmandu .
Flight – round trip air fare US$ 326 for Kathmandu to Lukla (day 2) & Lukla to Kathmandu (day 19) which does not include in the above price.
Guide & Porter during the trekking
Smile Adventure and tours will provide a professional trekking guide (license holder). We arrange porter(s) to carry your gears (a porter can carry maximum 15 kg) and the porter will accompany with you. The number of porter depends on group size. We will provide the salary, accommodation, insurance, meals for the guide and porter.
A trekking day in Everest Three High Passes Trek
The trek starts after a delicious breakfast with a cup of tea. Our guide briefs about trail then after we start to walk of 3 to 4 hours. We offer lunch in a local teahouse or shop. After lunch you will relax for a while and continue to walk for for 3 to 4 hours until we reach next destination. When we reach next destination we can enjoy short hiking around the village or enjoy games. Evening have a dinner and overnight at the teahouse/lodge.
We also offer to rest frequently and give enough time to load & capacitor the amazing scenery of mountain, local settlement, and countryside in your camera during the trail.

Health & Experience Required for Everest Three High Passes Trek
The Everest Three High Passes Trek is a strenuous grade trek which offers at least 6-7 hours easy work in a day. We can do Everest Three High Passes Trek if you have average physical fitness with good health condition. Please note that walking in higher altitude demands more physical fitness than walking in lower altitudes. Several weeks of exercise and jogging before the starting the Everest Three High Passes Trek is highly suggestible. If you have done hiking and have good past experience it also helps to do this Everest Three High Passes Trek but technical skill does not require for this trip.
